AuthentiDate International AG was one of the first companies to be accredited by the German Federal Network Agency as an accredited certification service provider according to the German Signature Law and EU Signature Directive for the issue of qualified electronic time stamps in 2001 already.
Within the framework of the accreditation AuthentiDate International AG operates a Trust Center for the creation of qualified time stamps according to the requirements of the Signature Law. This TimeStamp service enables the high performance supply of companies and organizations with qualified time stamps.
AuthentiDate guarantees all contractual customers that issued time stamps can be verified over a period of 30 years. This very long verification period is, as AuthentiDate is an accredited provider, also additionally guaranteed through the German Federal Network Agency. Therefore, the qualified time stamps from the AuthentiDate Trust Center can also be used for data and processes with very long storage periods.
Provision for sufficient cover for consequential losses exists as an additional security feature according to German Signature Law in the amount of Euro 2.5m per time stamp.
The qualified time stamps from the Trust Center can be integrated into business processes such as e.g. re-signing, documentation, long-term archiving among others through various AuthentiDate TimeStamp products such as e.g. the eTimeStamp Module.
