TimeStamp Server
The AuthentiDate TimeStamp Server consists of a family of software systems which enable each user to personally generate high performance time stamps. If required one or several highly-security, external time sources (e.g. DCF77, GPS, NTP) can also be connected individually or in combination.
In order to be able to flexibly meet the different requirements with regard to performance, security and field of application the TimeStamp Server is available in various variants.

The TimeStamp Server ZDA as technical component for accredited TimeStamp services:
In this form the TimeStamp Server Software is based on the SigG-confirmed base component (SLMBC). This allows the TimeStamp Server ZDA to also be used as a technical component for accredited certification services according to the German Signature Law in order to produce qualified TimeStamps.

In this form the TimeStamp Server is based on an individual architecture for time stamp servers, which also enables adjustments with regard to the term environment. Either token-based (Smart Card) or software-based certificates are used as certificates.Typical fields of application of this variant are company- or organization-own time stamp systems in order to secure business transactions with "other" (non-qualified) time stamps. A legally binding sealing of electronic data which is in compliance with the German Signature Law is not necessary in this environment.

TimeStamp Server PROXY as Accounting Server for managing TimeStamp inquiries:
The TimeStamp Server Proxy is a supplement to the TimeStamp Server family and enables the central management, access control and storage of all TimeStamp inquiries which are in compliance with RFC3161. The TimeStamp Server Proxy is installed in addition to a TimeStamp Server, accepts all time stamp inquiries, verifies the admissibiltiy of an inquiry and records all inquiries in a database. This way time stamp inquiries can be limited, settled clearly and allocated to individual accounts or cost units.
The TimeStamp Server Proxy can also be installed in addition to time stamp systems of other manufacturers which are in compliance with RFC3161 and therefore enable improved accounting and discharge of the actual time stamp servers.
