The eTimeStamp Module serves the large scale, automatic and high performance requirement of time stamps of central server systems.
On the one hand the requirement of qualified TimeStamps according to the German Signature Law is supported by the accredited AuthentiDate Trust Center, on the other hand also the requirement of other (non-qualified) time stamps from other central or local server systems. In addition, time stamps can be verified automatically and with high performance through the central service. The time stamps and the communication comply with the international customary standard RFC3161.
The product is particularly suitable for the application in archive, workflow and document management systems. Customary application scenarios are the time stamping of documents and signature transactions in order to freeze these legally binding and document the status of processes and individual transactions without a doubt.
In addition, the product is specially designed for the „re-signing“ of archived and already signed data. This is e.g. relevant with the change of algorithms and offers such important functions for the long-term archiving.
