The eArchive Module was especially designed in order to supplement electronic Document Management Systems (DMS) and archive systems. The software enables the large-scale, high performance verification of personal signatures in ECM, DMS and archive systems. The signature verification runs fully automatically and transparent for the user. Signed data, signatures and the verification results can be stored automatically in the ECM/DMS/archive system.
Both the integrity as well as the authenticity of the data are checked during the verification. To this end the mathematic verification of the signature and the online inquiry (OCSP) of the certificate status are carried out by the eArchive Module with the respective Trust Centers.
Owing to the compliance with the customary Common PKI-Standard signatures can also be verified by the eArchive Module which were not created using AuthentiDate software. One of the pre-requisites is that the signatures also comply with the Common PKI-Standard.
The eArchive Module is already available as standard with many marketable archive systems.
