Lufthansa Revenue Services GmbH Enters Strategic Alliance with Authentidate
DUESSELDORF – Lufthansa Revenue Services GmbH, one of the largest archiving service providers in Germany, is expanding its range of services to include technologies and services of electronic signature specialist, Authentidate Deutschland GmbH a subsidiary of Authentidate International AG.
The strategic alliance with Authentidate gives customers of Lufthansa Revenue Services’ Data Storage+ solutions, the opportunity to protect electronic documents with electronic signatures and time stamps compliant with the strict standards of the German Signature Law and EU Signature Directive.

Files in Data Storage+ can be frozen electronically in a legally binding manner with qualified time stamps from the Authentidate Trust Center. The Authentidate Trust Center was accredited by the Federal Network Agency and complies with the highest legal security standards.
There are approximately 650 million documents (approx. 38 terabytes) in the Data Storage+ archive stock at present. More than 600 users worldwide access this data stock online day and night. Lufthansa Revenue Services GmbH can guarantee access to any document in its database within just one second.
Applications for the new Data Storage+ functions include electronic invoices in accordance with Sales Tax Law, legally binding documentation, insurance policies, contracts, electronic patient records, expert reports and physician’s letters. This solution will be especially beneficial for users who want to archive and verify signatures on high volumes of previously signed data.
