Mosaic and AuthentiDate cooperate
Meckenheim (Bonn), Düsseldorf, April 25, 2006 - Mosaic Software AG, Meckenheim, and AuthentiDate International AG, Düsseldorf, have agreed a strategic partnership. The partnership enables the ideal combination of AuthentiDate signature solutions and web services with the outsourcing services of Mosaic Software AG. As their first joint project, a solution has been developed that will be marketed under the name of Mosaic DocuSign.
Mosaic DocuSign enables electronic invoices to be sent and received using digital signatures and in compliance with statutory requirements. This provides a simple and quick to implement solution which also complements structured electronic data interchange.
Solution with a potential for savings
Mosaic DocuSign is a ready to use solution for all companies that send or receive large numbers of invoices and credits via post on a daily basis. In place of manual processing, a cost-effective electronic alternative is now available. Its greatest advantages are that it is quick to implement, provides a high potential for cost-savings and complies with statutory requirements.
Mosaic takes over the complete invoice generation process for any company that sends large quantities of invoices. Individual invoice documents are created from the sender's in-house data. The invoices are signed in compliance with statutory requirements with the aid of the AuthentiDate signature solution and are then sent to the recipient.
Mosaic provides invoice recipients with an electronic processing system for all incoming invoices and also complements any existing OCR solutions. Even business partners with a low volume of incoming invoice documents can be integrated with ease. With the new combined solution, companies also have the option of gradually switching over to electronic invoice reception without having to use additional paper documentation.
Thanks to the AuthentiDate solution, Mosaic provides all process steps from a single source - from signature generation to signature checking. This enables invoice senders and recipients to use electronic invoicing without any additional effort on their part. As an electronic invoice recipient, companies can use the system as part of the prior turnover tax method.
The AuthentiDate signature solution (on which Mosaic DocuSign is also based) is currently the only available signature solution that features proven compliance with accounting requirements (German Turnover Tax Law (UStG), Principles of Orderly Accounting (GoB), Commercial Code (HGB), Fiscal Code (AO)) through software certification from a leading international auditing company. A reassuring plus point for all companies that use Mosaic DocuSign.
The new partnership opens up additional market opportunities for both partners and their customers. Fosi Audi, member of the Mosaic Software AG Board, commented: "With Mosaic DocuSign we have closed a gap and make it possible for all companies to take advantage of electronic invoice interchange." Marc T. Willems, member of the Sales Board of AuthentiDate International AG, explained, "by integrating Mosaic DocuSign, the change to electronic invoicing is even easier for both invoice senders and recipients, enabling them to reduce their costs in this area without making initial investments."
