Legally secure long-term archiving

Legally secure long-term archiving plays a main role for social insurances. For example, they have to permanently archive evidence such as relevant payment documents that have been digitalized and signed using mass document recording.

In order to maintain the conclusiveness of signed data in the long term, subsequent data signing may be necessary due to progressing technological developments. When subsequent signing in the archive is necessary is orientated towards the specifications of the Federal network Agency.

Subsequent signing was last required at the end of the year 2007. AuthentiDate subsequently signed several million signed data records in the year 2007 for different customers, including from the field of social insurances, and therefore maintained the conclusiveness of data in the long term.
