Legally secure long-term archiving

Patient files especially have to be archived over a longer period of 30 years and more. The use of a qualified timestamp can be used to legally prove which status a patient file had at the time of archiving. As soon as a change to the patient file takes place (e.g. by adding a laboratory report), the file is automatically stamped in the archive and the history therefore legally recorded.

Because each patient file is individually stamped with a timestamp, each file is "transferable". This means it can be transferred to third parties without additional software and without additional data sent with it; to patients or treating physicians for example. A qualified timestamp is directly linked with the individual patient file, legally proves the integrity of the file and can be checked at any time without additional software.

As an accredited certification service provider in accordance with the signature law, AuthentiDate is capable of supplying millions of timestamps with high performance to archive patient's files.
